Accessibility information for the Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion
The accessible seating for the area is on the main floor of the entrance and there is no need to have special tickets or specific reservations. The arena will be able to accommodate all of the guests with accessibility needs for the Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry Graduation and Awards Recognition Celebration.
The following picture displays the accessible seating area. The ceremony will be projected onto the large screens that in the arena and the ceremony will be amplified through the arenas sound system. The accessible seating area is where the stackable chairs are and wraps around the perimeter of the arena ensuring that there are great views from several vantage points. Please be aware that in order to accommodate everyone, the arena asks that only one companion be seated with accessible guests

The closest parking locations with accessible parking are lots E17 and E98, you are able to pay at a machine at both of these locations.

Accessible entrances at the Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion
Both of the main entrances at the arena are accessible, these entrances are marked in the picture below where it states main entrances for families.
Drop off for guests that need access to the accessible entrances at the Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
If you need to drop someone off and join them later, Graves Hall (which is next to parking lot E98) provides a good location for this.

There is a path that goes from the E98 parking lot under a bridge that leads to the north entrance of the area. The path under the bridge is shown in the following picture.
The path continues on the other side of the bridge and provides access to the ramp that leads to the North Entrance of the Arena.
The following picture shows the ramp that leads to the north entrance from the viewpoint of the other side of the bridge.
Once you enter the north arena entrance the ramp that provides access to the accessible seating area is on the right hand side.
