X-Ray Crystallography

X-ray diffraction studies are used to assist with the characterization of new compounds. The Chemistry X-ray Diffraction Facility provides the resources and professional help for determining the atomic structures of small molecules.

We try to return structures within 60 hours (2.5 days) from the time the sample was received, including a publishable report with all documented information. We accept applications from outside the University of Washington and can offer confidentiality or arrange for a non-disclosure agreement.

You may view current X-ray activities via webcam.

To request services, please submit a completed Order Form (PDF).

Please use the Structure Reports website to obtain your report.
