Summary
Ethanol and Water are added to a graduated cylinder and the resulting volume is not equal to the starting volumes.
Materials
- 100mL of 200 proof Ethanol
- 100mL of Water
- 250mL Graduated Cylinder marked at 200mL with tape
Procedure
Pour each cylinder into the larger graduated cylinder and note the new volume is just short of 200mL.
