Chemistry graduate student awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Congratulations to graduate student Jack Geary who was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited U.S. institutions.

Jack Geary is a second-year graduate student in the research group of Assistant Professor Dianne Xiao.

Casey Chen, who completed her bachelor's degree in Winter 2021, received an honorable mention. She plans to pursue the PhD in chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley.
