Congratulations to Alice (Olesya) Martynova, who defended her Ph.D. work “From Fundamentals to Applications: Advancing Ion Mobility and Mass Spectrometry for Molecular Characterization” on March 20, 2026. Alice was a student in Professor Matthew Bush’s research group and worked on developing and optimizing ion mobility and mass spectrometry methods for various molecular classes. She thanks everyone from her research group, as well as many people within the department who were instrumental in her success!
