Phuong Ho Le Defends Dissertation

Submitted by Diana Knight on

Congratulations to Phuong Ho Le, who defended her Ph.D. work “Design and synthesis of novel solid sorbents for electrochemically mediated carbon capture” on June 5, 2026. Phuong was a student in Associate Professor Dianne Xiao’s research group, working on the design of porous materials for fixed-bed electrochemically mediated carbon capture devices to address their current limitations. She has accepted a position with Applied Materials as a Process Engineer III. She enjoyed her time at UW and valued her graduate studies, thanks to the supportive community and the many opportunities to grow. Five years of hard work, one unforgettable chapter closed. Next problem, please.
