The Seattle Association for Women in Science (AWIS) hosted their annual banquet at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture on Tuesday, June 17, where Professor Sarah Keller was a featured speaker as the 2025 recipient of the Science Advancement and Leadership Award.
Seattle AWIS annually selects three outstanding women who have advanced their fields of science, technology and education and honors them with awards for Science/Technology Advancement and Leadership, Early Career Achievement in STEM, and Excellence in STEM Education and Outreach. Awardees are leaders and innovators whose work has made an impact and mentors and inspiring role models for students and other professionals.
