Submitted by Mary Harty on

Congratulations to Biochemistry student Thomas Khuu, who has been named to the 2019 Husky 100!

The Husky 100 honors 100 UW undergraduate and graduate students in all areas of study who actively connect what happens inside and outside of the classroom and apply what they learn to make a difference on campus, in their communities, and for the future. Through their passion, leadership, and commitment, these students inspire all of us to shape our own Husky Experience.

From supporting children touched by parental cancer at Camp Kesem, to aiding elderly populations and conducting retinal disease research, Thomas’s time at the UW has centered on creating opportunities for others.  He aspires to become a research-oriented and community-driven physician. The departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry congratulate Thomas on being named to the Husky 100!
