Congratulations to Patrick Shelton, who defended his Ph.D. work “Chemical Approaches to Investigate the Biochemical Crosstalk Between Histone Sumoylation, Methylation and Acetylation” on November 8, 2019. He was a student in professor Chatterjee’s lab. After graduation Patrick will be heading to New York City to work as a post-doctoral researcher with Prof. Tarun Kapoor at Rockefeller University. There he will work toward unravelling the biochemical mechanisms of important proteins involved in cell division.
