Associate Teaching Professor Colleen Craig is quoted in the story "How an alternative grading system is improving student learning" in Chemical & Engineering News. Craig has discussed specifications grading (or specs grading) with the Department of Chemistry's Undergraduate Education Committee, and has invited Associate Professor Santiago Toledo of St. Edward’s University, an early adopter of specs grading, to present a workshop to the Department of Chemistry on May 25, 2021, and June 1, 2021.
