Jacob Busche Defends Dissertation

Submitted by Diana Knight on

Congratulations to Jacob Busche, who defended his Ph.D. work "Next-Generation Nanospectroscopy: Analytical and Numerical Models of New Developments in Electron Beam and Scanning Probe Experiments" on June 8, 2021. Jake was a student in Professor David Masiello's research group studying the interactions of light and matter at the nanoscale. He has accepted a position with Professors Francisco José García Vidal and Antonio Fernández-Domínguez as well as Dr. Johannes Feist at the Autonomous University of Madrid's Condensed Matter Physics Center where he will explore the dynamics of excitations in molecules and new classes of nanoparticles that demonstrate strong nonlinear behaviors.
