Tim Trinklein Defends Dissertation

Way to go! On February 22, 2023, Tim Trinklein defended his thesis titled “Development of theory, instrumentation, and chemometric data analysis tools for comprehensive two- and three-dimensional gas chromatography." Tim was student in Robert Synovec’s lab where he cut his teeth in fundamental analytical chemistry. Next, Tim will be joining Jonathan Sweedler’s group at the University of Illinois as postdoctoral researcher. There, he will work on an interdisciplinary project using mass spectrometry imaging to investigate the role of aberrant neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease.
