Congratulations to Vlada Olkhovych! She defended her thesis “Application of HS-SPME-GC for Sample Classification” on May 22nd, 2023. While in the ACST program, Vlada was a student in Rob Synovec's research group. She will be starting a new job in the pharmacokinetics lab at Fred Hutch. Vlada is from Kharkiv, Ukraine -- a place that became commonplace in the news since the Russian invasion of Ukraine -- and she is looking forward to a time she can return to Kharkiv for a visit. Vlada shares in the hope of every Ukrainian that the Russian government will face the tribunal.
