Congratulations to Lixin Lu, who defended her Ph.D. work “Approaching Accurate Description of Molecular Spectroscopies with Multi-reference Electronic Structure Methods” on May 30, 2023. Lixin was a student in Professor Xiaosong Li's research group where she had great fun learning and utilizing relativistic quantum chemistry methods to understand molecular spectroscopy. She will be working with Prof. Todd Martínez at Stanford as a postdoc researcher, where she will focus on developing electronic structure methods to study photochemistry.
