Congratulations to Rachel Huchmala, who defended her Ph.D. work “Using Reduced Dimensional Models to Interpret Spectral Signatures of Large Amplitude Motions of OH Bonds” on May 16, 2023. Rachel was a student in Professor Anne McCoy’s research group where she worked to understand the effects of hydrogen bonding on vibrational spectroscopy through theoretical methods. She has accepted a postdoctoral position with Professor Brian Jackson at Boise State University, where she will be part of the NASA Science Activation Program.
