The Metacognitive Learning Strategies Workshops are facilitated by Anna Merkulova, the Learning Strategies Mentor for the Catalyze Your Success program. In each workshop, Anna will show you how to apply the learning strategies in effective and practical ways to your study of chemistry.

Learn how to use the Active Reading technique to extract relevant information from word problems so you can solve them effectively.

Understand Concepts and Improve Your Scores

Learn to think metacognitively about the structure of your textbook, and to most effectively use your other course resources. Use "clues" in how they are organized to gain maximum understanding of the content.
