Catalog Description: 
Second course in a three-quarter overview of general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. Not for students majoring in biochemistry, chemistry, or engineering. Introduction to organic chemistry including organic compounds, functional groups, aromaticity, and stereochemistry. No more than 5 credits can be counted toward graduation from the following course group: CHEM 220, CHEM 223, CHEM 237, CHEM 335. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 1.7 in either CHEM 120 or CHEM 142.
