Experimental exploration of the periodic table. Techniques of preparation and characterization of inorganic compounds. Handling of air-sensitive materials and gases. Prerequisite: either CHEM 165 or CHEM 312; and either CHEM 242, CHEM 347, or B CHEM 242. Offered: AWSp.
