Chemical thermodynamics. Laws of thermodynamics presented with applications to phase equilibria, chemical equilibria, and solutions. Cannot be taken for credit if credit received for CHEM 452. Prerequisite: either CHEM 153, CHEM 162, or CHEM 165; MATH 126 or MATH 136; and PHYS 116 or PHYS 123. Offered: WS.
