Catalog Description:
CHEM 145, CHEM 155, and CHEM 165, together, cover the topics in CHEM 142, CHEM 152, and CHEM 162 at a more advanced level and with greater mathematical rigor. No more than 6 credits from the following may count toward graduation requirements: CHEM 120, CHEM 142, CHEM 143, CHEM 145. Prerequisite: either MATH 124 or MATH 134 (either of which may be taken concurrently), a minimum score of 66 on the Honors General Chemistry placement exam (HCHEMC or HCHEMD), a minimum score of 3 on the AP Chemistry exam, or a minimum score of 5 on the IB high level chemistry exam.
