Catalog Description: 
Introduction to quantum chemistry and spectroscopy. Theory of quantum mechanics presented at an elementary level and applied to the electronic structure of atoms and molecules and to molecular spectra. Prerequisite: either CHEM 153, CHEM 155, or CHEM 162; either MATH 126 or MATH 136; either PHYS 116 or PHYS 123. Offered: ASp.
