Catalog Description:
Introduction to organic laboratory techniques. Synthesis, purification, and spectroscopic analysis of representative compounds. Designed to be taken with CHEM 224 or CHEM 238. Cannot be taken for credit if credit received for CHEM 261. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 1.7 in either CHEM 223, CHEM 237, or CHEM 257; and a minimum grade of 1.7 in either CHEM 224, CHEM 238, or CHEM 258, any of which may be taken concurrently.
